Restored Instruments

We maintain a collection of older instruments which have been restored in our shop.

Our Viola selection includes sizes from 15” to 16.5” in various models, including Tertis patterns on smaller sizes.
Our cello selection includes new and restored models in a range of prices.
Our bass selection includes laminated, hybrid, and fully carved, new and restored from China and Europe.

Choosing an instrument and/or bow

The members of our small staff (just three of us!) are all players ourselves and know the importance of finding an instrument that is the right match for your needs and aspirations.

We are always happy to answer questions, demo instruments, and provide any other help you may need.

Instrument Trials

We want you to make the right decision.

Ask about our at-home trial program for instruments and bows – so you can get to know your favorites in a comfortable and familiar space.

Teacher input can be invaluable in making the right decision, and we encourage students to seek out feedback from teachers or even schedule a lesson at the shop so your teacher can try out instruments with you.
